With voter registration deadlines hitting as early as today, I figured I’d note the Google Maps ‘Vote’ offerings in my TV segment. Went back and forth and decided not to point out that there are still a lot of zip codes they seem not to have information for, including the state of Rhode Island. (Put in your zip and you get bupkis.
But call your friends – alert your family – and get them registered. Even if you don’t agree with them. Here’s a state-by-state list for you from the Education Assistance Commission.
On another note, with all the stories flying around about voter list purges, and so on… have you checked your own registration? As I mentioned yesterday, mine got screwed up when I moved - so DO IT!
